Guardian consent

A guardian's refusal on record
Your school administrator records a guardian's decision here. Recording then stops for that student.

Signing in and using READSmart counts as a guardian's agreement to practice recording. On the Pupils tab, each student's row already shows whether they can record. Your school administrator records a guardian's refusal or withdrawal, which stops that student from recording right away, and READSmart keeps the full decision history. Research recordings still use the signed Phil-IRI consent forms, not this in-app record.
